Yay for more blogging! I’m happy to see the blogs of friends and family filling out… a few posts here and there throughout the week that have made my heart exceedingly happy.

You know how I was saying that I’ve been keeping up on more blogs thanks to my RSS reader? Well, that’s the case, but as I went through the links on my webpage to determine what was still active, I realized that many of the people I had linked from my blog weren’t actually on my RSS feed list. I’d still been checking these blogs individually, and doing a poor job at that. So, while I feel sad to have lost so many of my readers during the past few years of inactivity, I realized that I wasn’t doing my friends and family any favors, either! While my craft, cooking and tech blogs gave me regular updates of what was new, the “friends and family” section of my RSS feed was painfully light.

I remedied the situation and added every friend and family member I could think of so they have a place holder in my list, regardless of how active they are. I guess a failsafe is only as good as it’s designed to be, and that was a big “oops” on my part. The only saving grace I’ve had is that most of them post links to their blog updates on Facebook. And, so, the cycle of Facebook continues…

Anyway, it’s great to see that blogging is still alive and well.

Mom to "C", wife to Ben. I'm a part-time blogger, cook, organizer, seamstress, house cleaner, taxi, nurse (the mom kind), accountant... I could go on, but really... it's all in the blog. Read away!
