Lose weight with The Daily Plate My newest obsession… The Daily is an excellent site for tracking calories consumed, burned, weight loss & calorie goals. I love this site!

You can calculate a calorie goal by entering your current height & weight and your weight loss (or gain) goals. The site spits back a recommended net calorie intake number that will help guide you to your goal. Then you can enter your food & exercise by searching through their extensive databases, or by entering a new recipe or food (if what you’re looking for isn’t already out there). It really is a brilliant idea – previous sites I’ve used have been limited in the food & exercise search tools, or didn’t integrate the food with exercise very well. This site seems to have it all, and is adding features daily. There are graphs & charts for comparative views of calories recommended, consumed and burned. You also get a nifty breakdown of your calories in a pie chart – showing carbs, fat & protein ratios. Upgrade to a gold membership and you can view a nutritional label of your diet – including vitamins, minerals and fiber.
