Fall has arrived

I found my car covered in a dewey glaze at 8am this morning. The sky is overcast. Not impending rain, just the fall season on it’s way. Leaves are starting to turn shades of red and purple, and the air is crisp.

It’s perfect timing for me. I enjoyed walking out into the cool fall air this morning. Already suited for the occassion, I was decked out in a sweater and slacks for work. The warm weather has been great, and I will still enjoy those last few hot days that we’ll undoubtably see before winter arrives, but it’s definitely time for things to start cooling down in general.

Ben has been travelling for work the past few days, so I took the opportunity to spend some time with my friend, Jen, last night. We went to a spinning class (that kicked my butt!!), went back to her house for dinner, and then watched a movie called "Bride & Prejudice". An Indian culture movie, by the same people who made "Bend it Like Beckham", only a lot more singing and dancing. Sans the formentioned ‘Grease’ style singing/dancing skits, it was a cute movie. Non-complicated story line, a few twists, but generally a chick flick. We actually fast forwarded through most of the musical pieces; sitting through the first one was enough for us.

Signing out. Have a good one!
